Ellie Wales founded the retro Whale Of A Time Clothing brand in 2015, and has already seen success with Made In Chelsea’s Binky Felstead sporting one of her cosy sweatshirts.

As fellow Norfolk based businesses, we both saw it as a great opportunity to collaborate on launching the brand’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection, now available on Whale of a Time’s website.

It was great to chat to Ellie at the shoot, her enthusiasm towards the brand is inspiring. We had a thoroughly good time and it was a pleasure to work with such great models - you can’t go wrong when one of them turns up with a dozen creme eggs!

For me this was a really exciting project. Considering I’m normally working with animals or children, it was a nice change being able to actually communicate with my models for once. Also, it was great to venture beyond my usual black background and embrace a lighter style! 

Overall we had a great shoot and after many hours of post production I am very pleased with the results. 

As I sit here now, snuggled in my very own blue and white Orca jumper, I look forward to working with Ellie and Whale of a Time Clothing again in the future.
